puppy agreement

Buyer agrees to provide proper care of the puppy, including proper nutrition, vet care, vaccinations, exercise/training and a loving environment. Buyer agrees to pay deposit when choosing a puppy to guarantee gender and color availability. Final payment is due at pick up. To ensure the safety of the mother and puppy’s health buyers will only be allowed to meet  their new puppy at the 8 week mark after receiving their first round of shots. Puppy will be ready to go to their new home after 8 weeks old. Upon the completed purchase of your puppy, you will be provided with a complete veterinary assessment form including vaccinations and deworming.

Buyer agrees to take puppy to the vet of their choice within 3 weeks of purchase for next round of vaccines if picked up at 8 weeks old. It is generally recommended that the puppy receives booster shots every couple of weeks until the series is completed for maximum disease prevention. Illnesses due to the ingestion of foreign objects, food, chemicals, or physical injury are excluded. If your vet finds a defect in the puppy during the first checkup and then is verified by our vet, the buyer has the option of returning the puppy for full refund. Puppies can experience urinary tract infections, parasites, ear infections, or allergies after the puppy is introduced into their new home. These are common ailments which are not covered under this contract. Returns and refunds will not be excepted unless a real health concern as listed above is found at first checkup. Buyer agrees to sign and date this contract when picking up the puppy and pay final payment.
